Rush Limbaugh or Bill Clinton who do you prefer?

I am amazed at how negative Rush Limbaugh is. Yesterday after Bill Clinton went to N. Korea and got the release of the two female journalists he wonders in his radio show if he hit on them on the plane ride back. If Rush had been the person to get them freed maybe he would have shared his stash of illegal pills (that he paid with several payments of just under the federal red-signal limit of $10k so he may not get caught) to help alleviate their pain?

This guy will make an issue out of anything to make a radio show. I once used to listen to him once in a while just to understand what a republican conservative thinks like and he sometimes made sense - not anymore. Then there is Anne Coulter, I can't even type that name without a feeling dirty or sick! I avoid people like them like China tries to avoid the swine flu. I would like to quarantine them. They are making crazy ads against the public medicine idea with issues that have been recommended by the government since the Reagan era, just because the Obama plan says they will pay for these Republican recommended practices like making Living Wills.

Are there any sensible Republicans left? In the '90s I was an Independent leaning towards Republican values because I saw how the democrats played dirty with president Bush senior. Thanks to selection of 'W' and 'Gore' as their party choices, I voted for John McCain as my protest, write-in vote. Thanks to George Bush, I became a staunch Democrat and voted for John Kerry because of the dirty tricks 'W' and the republicans played against him - even though I did not think he was the best democratic candidate - he was a decent man as far as I could see. I voted for, campaigned and contributed to the Obama campaign. It was very minor campaigning and small donations but for me that was a huge step in taking sides. I am usually very independent in my thinking and hate being pigeon-holed.

Guys who only think in terms of winning elections and not what they will do for the people they represent nor the country as a whole have got me hopping mad. They are morally corrupt and the cause of this country's imminent financial collapse. They are both Democrats and Republicans. "We the people" need to throw the bums out. We did a good job against the Republicans and we need to make sure the Democrats do not think they have it made. We need to elect more congressmen and senators like Barak Obama, John McCain, Bill Bradley, Bob Graham, Bob Dole, the old John Murtha. Where are they?
